James Peron, Cory’s 2X Great Grandfather on his Grandmother’s side is another brick wall in the family tree. We have a rough idea of a few pieces of his life, but can’t find any official records for his birth, his death, his marriage, or anything that really provides much additional detail.
Recently I hired a researcher in Iowa to see if there were any records in the state archives that the county society and the online records didn’t cover. So far, we still don’t have any additional details that provide much information.
There are several family members looking for these details though, so hopefully the record we need will appear one day.
