This is my first post on the 6th generation of my family on my maternal side. Anders Angerson and Anna Mansdotter are the parents of my 2X Great Grandfather Carl Magnus (Charles, Charlie, CM) Anderson who is the father of my Great Grandfather Reuben Anderson. This research in Sweden was done by a professional researcher hired by a cousin, Brenda Prelog.
From Anders and Anna back as far as records have been found they are located in Kalmar County, Sweden
As I mention in the document, there is a great book that discusses the Swedish way of life in the time period of these ancestors. The World of Casja Andersdotter is a good resource and even talks a bit about what being an illegitimate child meant, as Anders is listed in the church records as illegitimate.
It is also worth noting that Sweden for many years utilized a patronymic name system where last names were all the son of “son” or daughter of “dotter”
