I fell behind a little in updating the blog this year, but that doesn’t mean things haven’t been happening.
In addition to some of the research that I have mentioned this year, some Swiss research, some cleanup of the Ancestry tree, and some WWI research for my Great Uncle I have also been doing some research on Cory’s Perlette family that I hope will find some solid documentation for. Cory’s 3rd Great Grandfather John Perlette married a Dorothea who’s family has so far been unknown. Thanks to some DNA finds and some guardianship court documents I have a really good lead on who her family might be and will share that conclusion when I finish the project.
I have also submitted a few more DAR Patriots for approval and will eventually hear back on those.
I believe next year I’ll have to tackle a few tough projects for some ancestors who have been tough to find details on. The projects may take a while but I hope to finally be able to document a few tough to find people.
