It has been on my list for a while to try and find out information on the Lobner Family in Germany. It has been hindered by the fact that there were no records online, there was limited access to the in-person records and then finding someone to do the research onsite.
Thanks to Roots Quest Genealogy (Formerly Tree Tidings) we have been able to locate a set of records. How exciting!
We located Cory’s Lobner branch in the Jahna Parish, Mittelsachsen, Saxony, Germany. For the first research project we were able to find the next generation and then a good lead for which church records likely contain the next set of information. I am hopeful that the contact in Germany will be able to access those records yet this year and there may be additional information forthcoming on the Lobner family.
It’s always so much fun to uncover new information.
