Chamberlain Family

Sometimes my projects start out as very random thoughts or something I just happened to click on in the family tree and off I go again.

This time I was playing around with a few DNA matches on the Clutter side of the family and found a few things that lead me to also look at the Chamberlain family. For reference this is all on the Pocock side of the family and back to my 5th Great grandparents where I have a stopping point

As I was looking for info on Phoebe Chamberlain the wife of Moses Kimball I found the Chamberlain Genealogical Society. FUN! This branch of the family is in New Jersey, I find them in Ohio later, and then we lose track of Moses and Phoebe but can trace some of their children.

I’m now corresponding with the society and as it works out, my dead end in the tree is also an “unattached” family in the big world tree. So, now I’m working on trying to find data sources for the family that I know fits into the tree and maybe something I find will help us tie the branch into the big family tree. Here’s hoping!
