This last weekend was a busy one. Part of the weekend was at the IL Heritage Alliance genealogy conference. Lots of learning on different lineage societies and some fabulous speakers. A couple of them with some great stories about perseverance and how that finally breaks down some brick walls in the tree. Some inspring things!
Then Sunday was a volunteer day at Octoberfest in Peoria. The Peoria Genealogy society has a booth and we were pretty busy all day helping people find out details about their ancestors. It’s always fun to find some details that were previously unknown and share them with people!
Now it’s time to do some additional research on my own families and maybe uncover some previously unknown details 🙂
