Some of the additional DAR Patriots I have been waiting on were approved. I now have Zachariah Beall, Richard Evans, Amasa Harvey and Robert Harvey added to my list. All of these patriots are tied to Lena Livermore who is the mother of Gladys Hagerdon Anderson my Great Grandmother. I still have a couple more in the queue, but I think they’ll be ready soon and I still have more to submit.
In addition, I got an application ready for the War of 1812 Society and hope to hear back from them soon.
I also prepared my next application for the National Society Descendants of American Farmers and just need to submit it. I had goofed up some prior submissions to them and thankfully it’s a wonderful group, so we have all of those taken care of and ready to go.
I did also submit one additional paper to the First Families of Nebraska for the Bauers family whom I had forgotten because the immigrant William has such limited data available, but they have been in Nebraska for over 100 years, so might as well recognize them too.
It’s been a busy few days even if I wasn’t getting blog posts completed. Always something going on in my genealogy research world 🙂
