This post is a continuation of my posts on the 7th generation of my family tree. Counting myself as Generation 1, the 7th generation is my 4X Great Grandparents. George Clutter and Mary Kimble are the grandparents of my 2X Great Grandparents Glenn Pocock, and Glen is the father of my Great Grandmother Blanche Pocock who married Ben Mauser.
George is mentioned in prior posts as a Century Family of Nebraska and as a Civil War Veteran.
As I put this information together I was once again shocked at how I can have pages and pages of information on the head of the family, and almost nothing on his wife. I’m sure that Mary was every bit as interesting a character as George, but her story doesn’t make the newspapers and other public sources as frequently. I am currently searching for more information on Mary’s parents and will update as that is availble.
