Joseph Albright and Catherine Kinsey Photo and Story Gallery

This post is a continuation of my posts on the 7th generation of my family tree. Counting myself as Generation 1, the 7th generation is my 4X Great Grandparents. Joseph Albright and Catherine Kinsey are the parents of Charles Albright who is the father of my 2X Great Grandmother Ada Albright Pocock , who is the mother of my Great Grandmother Blanche Pocock who married Ben Mauser.

Joseph and Catherine were in Ohio in the very early settlements of Tuscarawas County and then moved to Dekalb County, Indiana. In researching this I was able to put down the several events that make their lives interesting, but was also introduced to two different religions via Catherine’s obituary. I was not familiar with the Moravians and the Dunkards until uncovering them in her life. Thanks to Joseph’s mother who included relationships of her family in her will I was able to submit the Albright line to the Daughters of the American Revolution for an additional Patriot in Felix Albright. More details coming on that once the data is submitted and accepted.

The Kinsey family originated in Switzerland, and there are a variety of spellings located for the name, but Kinsey seems to be the most commonly used with Catherine.
