Research is sometimes slow going

I had great intentions of posting all of Cory’s 3X Great Grandparents before switching back to my tree, and I’m thinking I may revisit that plan. I have a few things that are delayed with different agencies busy or still on reduced staff that makes everything happen so much slower. I had some really exciting finds with the Robison family at the Rock Island, IL Historical Society, and had some good information arrive on the Storer family which was exciting and filled in some good information. I am still waiting on a few documents trying to tie some people to their families, and those documents seem to be slow in arriving. I know they’ll get here, I just need patience.

To finish the 3X Great Grandparents who were in the United States I am trying to confirm information on the parents of Anna Amanda Shughart Perlette, Susan Lillian Neff Hastings, and Esther Priscilla Chase Peron. For all three of these ladies I’m looking for a few documents proving relationships either between them and their parents, or some information on their parents that completes the story a bit more.

I may switch back to my tree and start posting details that I can confirm for my 4X Great Grandparents and then fill in Cory’s tree as the information arrives. The way these things usually work, as soon as I get involved back on my branches of the tree then all the information I’ve been looking for will start arriving – and that’s OK.

Stay tuned for more information as I find it….
