What a week! I have had some fruitful research requests come to completion and have updates to report on so many fronts.
The easy one – I have new information on the Kallsen/Roeh family in Germany. Thanks to Tree Tidings Genealogy there has been another generation added to the tree. I’ll post here shortly with what I have so far for everyone’s reference.
I took two trips this week to nearby Historical Societies and Genealogical Societies. A huge thank you to the Warren County IL Genealogical Society and the Rock Island Historical Society in Moline, IL. I was able to gather some additional information on the Shughart and Robison branches of the family that is helpful.
I’ve also received back a note that the Athens County OH Historical Society was able to find some information on the Storer line that hopefully will help put some pieces together a bit nicer.
Look for updates on all of those lines here in the near future as well as a biography from a German relative on his time in WWII. It’s a great point of view that few of us are familiar with.
