I’ve been trying to post at least once a week as I have a lot of things to share and want to keep the blog active. However, I was a bit stalled in my posting as the next set of posts for Cory’s 3X Great Grandparents need a bit more research before I really want to post much.
Today, I am making my first journey to a FamilySearch affiliate library to look for a few records on the Ambler and Seibert lines. I’m hoping to find some church records that aren’t available elsewhere, or maybe some birth or death records for a few people that will help confirm the relationships that are suspected, and widely reported in other online trees, but it’s always best to confirm the research before believing it.
The Ambler and Seibert lines are all part of Cory’s Grandmother Mildred Seibert Lobner’s family line.
I also had an email yesterday with some additional research on the Roh family, who married into the Kallsen family which means the line is through my Great Grandfather Walter Kallsen. It’s always fun to find evidence of another generation in the old German Church records.
I’ll update as I have more information and hope to post bios for some of Cory’s family in the next week or so.
