Henry Bayne and Elizabeth Gustin are the parents of my 2X Great Grandfather James Buchanon Bayne and the grandparents of my Great Grandmother Marjorie Bayne Munter. Both of these families have a long history in the United States as it looks like the Gustin family arrived in the US in 1675 and the Bayne family in about 1637.
It just amazes me that in this time period – Elizabeth died in 1911 – that she had 13 children and still lived to be over 90 years old. I guess there’s something to be said for hard work and a farm lifestyle.
