This post is the 6th generation of my family on my maternal side. Nils BorjesSon and Stina Lisa Myron are the parents of my 2X Great Grandmother Anna Louisa Nilsdotter (Nelson) who is the father of my Great Grandfather Reuben Anderson. This research in Sweden was done by a professional researcher hired by a cousin, Brenda Prelog.
From Nils and Stina Lisa back as far as records have been found they are located in Kalmar County, Sweden
There is a great book that discusses the Swedish way of life in the time period of these ancestors. The World of Casja Andersdotter is a good resource and even talks a bit about what being an illegitimate child meant, as Stina Lisa is listed in the church records as illegitimate.
It is also worth noting that Sweden for many years utilized a patronymic name system where last names were all the son of “son” or daughter of “dotter”
