James Heinrich Peron and Esther Priscilla Chase are Cory’s 2X Great Grandparents on his maternal side. They are the parents of Cory’s Great Grandmother Garnet Peron who is then the mother of his grandmother Mildred Seibert. This is the final post for Cory’s 2X Great Grandparents.
At present this family lacks a lot of detail for specifics, but I have presented what I know. I will need to put some dedicated research in to determine more details and may need to go to the courthouse in Iowa to find the details.
Once I can make some connections for Esther Chase with certainty, her family can be traced back several generations with one branch being known Loyalists in the Revolutionary War. I had thought at one point that the Chase line tied to a Mayflower Passenger, but further research makes that look less likely.
Garnet Peron was born in 1890 and was only 9 when she would have been left an orphan. She was 5 years old when her mother died.
