George Freeman Seibert and Mary Ellen Ambler are Cory’s 2X Great Grandparents on his maternal side. They are the parents of Cory’s Great Grandfather Harry Jonas Seibert who is then the father of his grandmother Mildred Seibert.
I have a decent amount of information on George Seibert, including what will be another post on his dealings with the Laurel Nebraska Gold Mining and Milling Company. Yes, you read that correctly, there was a group from Laurel, Nebraska who went out to Nevada in 1910 for some mining. George’s family seems to have had a fair bit of research completed, so I have additional material coming for his family.
Mary Ellen Ambler had a short life as she was only about 31 years old when she died. If I have all of my information correct, the Ambler family is a Quaker family and were early settlers in Pennsylvania.
