Here is my first post for Cory’s 2X Great Grandparents on his maternal side. This first one is sadly very easy. Karl Heinrich Lobner and Christina Henriette Stark are the parents of Cory’s Great Grandfather Karl Herman Lobner who is then the father of his grandfather Alex Lobner.
Karl Heinrich and Christina Henrietta were both from Saxony, Germany. Karl Heinrich died there. Christina came to the United States to visit her sons and died in Lewellen, Nebraska. She is buried in the Fairview Cemetery. No death certificate for Christina has been found in the State of Nebraska, I had hoped that it might list her parents.
The only information I have currently is from her obituary. We know that there are seven children who survived her with only Herman and Adolf coming to America.
I have attempted professional research on this family, but in 2020 found that most records for this region are not online. On the ground research is needed and due to the COVID 19 restrictions most research facilities are not open. This line will be revisited later.
